Scope of Works from Client:
Provide a refurbishment proposal for hotel rooms on the basis that current kitchenette (including fridge), study desk and carpet will remain, with a view to lifting room rate. Sofas or sofa beds are not a requirement however comfortable feature chairs are.
TAE Projects Proposal:
We proposed to utilize the sophisticated look of the ornate gold framed mirrors and artwork throughout the common areas of the property and bring this look and feel of sophistication into the rooms.
The new casegoods (bedsides tables, occasional table and console table) were matched to the finish of the current kitchenette to ensure continuity in the room.
We upgraded the beds to king splits and provided a superior quality ensemble.
As the client specifically requested feature chairs we provided matching chairs with a high level of comfort and upholstered in commercial fabrics that will withstand the demands of guests utilizing the hotel rooms. Feature paneling was enhanced on the sides of the chairs to match soft furnishings provided. Two small ottomans were also provided in matching fabrics to increase the comfort level of guests in hotel rooms.
We chose subtle old golds and black Warwick Designer Fabrics for the bedrunners, bel air and feature cushions in the rooms.
The artwork in the rooms was painted specifically for this property. Colour matching the fabrics in the room into the artwork to create an absolute beautiful guest experience.
The lamps we chose for these rooms were the epitomy of class. Colour matched to the soft furnishings and artwork for the finishing touch.
Whilst the outdoor setting was not a priority for our client we provided a setting that was inkeeping with the refurbishment of the rooms.
Providing fresh new curtains, both blockout and sheers (whilst addressing light seepage problems) certainly helped to take this property to the next level.
TAE Projects kept budget in mind at all times and directed the client where savings could be made. We provided direction on resolving lighting problems in the room along with concerns the client had with guest experience (pre TAE Projects refurbishment).
By selecting TAE Projects for this upgrade the client was able to discuss their current concerns and ask for guidance on some of the areas they were undergoing themselves (ie painting and electrical). Once the client had completed their work TAE Projects was able to rollout the prototype room. By completing the prototype room the client was able to enjoy peace of mind in the new look and feel before rolling out the entire property. The client also then retained TAE Projects services to upgrade their reception, foyer, restaurant and bar areas.
